this is a Opel Astra Van, it has only two chairs in the car, the rest can you use as space for all kind of stuff, most of this kind of cars are used as Service car.

Hallo, ich habe gerade original Opeldaten vor mir liegen und grüble gerade darüber nach was ein Astra Van 3-Door ist. So sieht die Auflistung in Englisch aus: MODEL BODY TOTAL Astra 98 Hatch 2-Door 438087 (Fließ 3-tür) Hatch 4-Door 1694221 (Fließ 5-tür) Notch-4-Door 340332 (Stufen 4-tür) Van 3-Door 87665 (?) Wagon 5-Door 1033128 (Caravan) Vielleicht wird ja so das Coupé bezeichnet. Wer kann mir weiterhelfen? Danke sagt holgersh |

Hi, es gab schon vom Corsa A / B Ausführungen, die innen mehr oder weniger gestrippt waren, um eine möglichst glatte, durchgehende Ladefläche zu schaffen. Dazu kamen Einrichtungen zur Sicherung der Ladung. Es sind sogar halbverglaste Ausführungen bekannt. Von wegen 3-türig! Denn so hat's den Astra Caravan nicht gegeben. Daneben gibt es aber auch richtige 2(!!!)-türige Lieferwagen. In Deutschland werden die allerdings wohl nur unterm Ladentisch gehandelt. Ich stell mir das ganze so vor: Astra 98 Hatch 2-Door 438087 (Fließ 3-tür) --> Hatch (steht für Hatchback = CC), die ganz normale Fließheckversion mit 3 "Türen" Hatch 4-Door 1694221 (Fließ 5-tür) --> Hatch (steht für Hatchback = CC), die ganz normale Fließheckversion mit 5 "Türen" Notch-4-Door 340332 (Stufen 4-tür) --> Stufenheckvariante mit 4 Türen + Kofferraumdeckel Wagon 5-Door 1033128 (Caravan) --> wie die 2 Astras auf den Bildern oben Van 3-Door 87665 (?) --> die einzige logische Folgerung daraus für mich ist, ein Astra mit 2 Türen (Fahrer und Beifahrer) und hinten die Heckklappe, also wie es z.B. vom C Kadett CarAVan welche gab) mfg Andi EDIT: wollte auch grad ein Bild einfügen, aber da war wer schneller als ich |

@CH Hochinteressantes Fahrzeug oben: erhöhtes Dach! How must i tell you this. Cars like the Astra Van, has a lower tax then the normal Astra Caravan, but the gouverment here in Nl was not happy with all the dutch people that buy a Van version from a normal car like a Astra or other cars that normal will be sold as caravan. So the gouverment says the space in the car must be ?m2, after that all cars like the normal Astra Van are out of the low tax, but Dutch people are smart and a company make special package for that, a small extra roof on a normal car, so the space in the car was the m2 that the gouverment has say, and the car can be sold for the low tax  I hope that you understand this. Gr Andre Ps: in The Netherlands is a van also a car that has black* windows like the two i posted here. *That was also for the low tax. |

Hello, in the days of my early childhood I lived near the danish border (nowadays I do again, but that's not so interesting here...) Long time ago we had threads about the PickUps of Olympia Rekord P1 and P2. I wrote there, that I could remember to have seen many of the P2 in a PickUp-version in the early Sixties. The reason was similar to the Netherlands nowadays due to heavy taxes the Danish Goverment forced to people who'd like to drive a car like these. So... people bought a PickUp an had less taxes to pay. btw: In Germany there is still today a "hole" in the tax-law that enables people to pay less taxes for a normal car: You only have to remove the back-seats and have "to blind" your rear windows and the car will be counted as a "Lastkraftwagen" that means like a van. Hallo, ich habe neulich in Ungarn so ein Teil gesehen. War ein Astra F als 3-Türiger Kastenwagen. Also Karosserie vom Caravan, aber nur die vorderen Türen, hinten komplett geschlossen. Hecktüre hatte ein normales Fenster. Gruß Otto |
