Hi,

there are some people that say that Solido will make a Vivaro and a New Traffic in 1/43.

Solido has also buy the Kadett C stuff from Detail cars, and the first one is the yellow/white 1000 serie car.

Der 1000er, der von Solido unter der Nummer 1847 kommen wird. Ganz so new ist er freilich nicht.

Das Erfreuliche daran ist, dass uns somit die schönen ehemaligen Detail Cars-Modelle des C2 Coupés erhalten bleiben.

Der Kern der Botschaft ist doch, dass nunmehr Solido die (als C2 Coupé angesehenen) Modelle von Detail Cars übernommen hat und wieder auf den Markt bringt. Deren Formen, wie es hiess, verschlissen waren. Gut, Formen kann man auch überarbeiten / reparieren.

Frage: Die ehemaligen Detail Cars sind Dir - davon gehe ich aus - sicher bekannt. Wie beurteilst Du sie hinsichtlich ihrer Vorbildtreue zum C2?

die freude der neuauflage ist ganz auf meiner seite, denn ich bin leider zu spät draufgekommen, daß detailcars nicht mehr produzierte...

der C2 ist eindeutig ein getarnter C1, sieht man z.B an den aufgedruckten Blinkern.
auch die karosserieform paßt nicht 100%, aber wenn sie deutlich billiger bleiben wie die minichamps, finde ich sie durchaus akzeptabel.

Danke für Deine Einschätzung! Mithin hat Detail Cars also eine Art „Mischform“ produziert, die sich zur Not sowohl als C1 wie auch als C2 ausgeben lässt. So man will und ungeachtet der besonderen Farbschemata. Weiß/gelber GT/E und Rallye gab es in der Tat nur als C2.

Zum Vergleich mal 2 Ansichten aus der damaligen Werbung. Mithin im garantiert „unverbastelten“ Originalzustand.

C1. Das gelb/schwarze Farbkleid wurde von Vielen als zu agressiv angesehen. - Der „jugendliche Raser“ ist Walter Röhrl!!!

Yes, that's true! I've got the brandnew catalogue. But there's a big „but“ as well. You know Solido is also making models scaled 1:50. There is no indication that these models are really 1:43! We'll have to wait and see.

Da sind sie also! Das große „aber“ besteht darin, daß Solido bekanntlich auch 1:50-Modelle herstellt. Und der mir vorliegende Katalog bietet keinen Anlass zu denken, daß es tatsächlich 1:43er sind. Abwarten!

Wohl noch interessanter wäre dieser Master mit RTW-Kofferaufbau in movanosierter Form ...

that's good news, i hope it will be a 1/43 Vivaro.

It is very nice that Solido will make a feuerwehr car, that''s beter than only a new color.

It's said that Solido has not a good website or a email so there is no good way to ask Solido to make some nice Movano version.

I have a realy nice Feuerwehr Movano based on the Vitesse/Opel model, i will take a picture soon for the forum.

Hallo again!

I really hope so, too! Otherwise my son will have some more cars to play with ... I've ordered both models 2179 & 2180 on option.

The Master pictured above is also on the title of the 2003 catalogue of VEREM (Solido belongs to).

The homepage of Solido is nothing but a joke. You can't find anything about the modelcars. It just leads you on the "Majorette" and "Ideal" pages.

I'm really looking forward to the pictures of your Feuerwehr-Movano!
